Estate Manager

DETAILS:

Estate Manager

Job Functions:

  • Directs and coordinates activities within the Estate Unit.

Specific Duties:  

  • Advice on and effect approved allocations of commercial, social and residential accommodation
  • Administer tenancy agreements for medical, recreational and hospitality facilities and monitor and assess the services delivery of appointed third party providers
  • Administer tenancy agreements for institutional residences in the employer’s permanent village and maintain inventory of houses and fixtures
  • Supervise and administer the provision of waste management services by a third party service provider
  • Supervise and administer the provision of parks and ground services by independent service provider
  • Supervise and administer building maintenance services by independent contractors
  • Supervise and administer the provision of catering services by independent service provider
  • Supervise valuation services for the Authority
  • Supervise and administer the provision of janitorial services for the office and guest houses
  • Supervise the Authority’s guest houses
  • Any other Assignments

COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Good report writing skills
  • Analytical with eye for details
  • Ability to work to strict deadline
  • Demonstrate a good level of practical experience in valuation and estate management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • A first degree in Bsc. Land Economy or Estate Management
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Estate Management
  • A member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors or other professional bodies will be an added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should be less than 45 years old.

 

Land Administrator

Job Functions:

  • Manage and monitor all activities on the acquired land as in EI 70.

Specific Duties:

  • Maintain and update spatial and Land use plans as needed
  • Monitor, control and regulate development activity to be in accordance with Master Plans
  • Monitor, control and regulate all activities in the lakeside area (i.e. <200 meters from the lake
  • Administer land leases
  • Manage Repository: Historical records of Acquired area; EI 70; Land ownership, compensation, Title Indentures, Transfers and other land transactions.

  • Good report writing skills
  • Analytical, with eye for details
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Demonstrate a good level of practical experience in Land Surveying/Valuation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • A good First degree in Geodetic Engineering, Land Surveying or Land Economy
  • At least 3 years work related experience in Land Surveying, Valuation and Geodetic Engineering.
  • A member of Ghana Institution of Surveyors will be an added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should be less than 45 years old.
